Jasmine Xie is a Sydney-based artist, graphic designer, and creative director who works across illustration, character design, animation, and editing. Xie’s work is an enchantment of the brilliance and vividness of her dreamscape and childhood, this is captured in her vibrant palettes which aim to infuse colours back into the monotonous and often monochromatic grind of everyday life. 

Xie’s work spans from both the commercial and the artistic form. Her experience, as well as her love for video games and Japanese culture, inspired her passion in the animated medium. Xie collaborated with Spineless Wonders and collective Pigeon Power on her award-winning film Boiling Point, a film that explores the dark reality behind a perfect online presence. Xie has previously exhibited her works in Sydney’s Loop de Loop Festival and Sydney Fringe Festival 2019 and has won 2nd place in the 2016 China Cartoon art competition.
